Konami is now all set to dive right in on a free-to-play journey with their E-Football. This will be a complete free football game to play on PC and consoles for all the fellow football fanatics out there. Fans of PES have been asking for an E-Football free game for quite some time now and seems like the developers have finally answered. Konami has scheduled the E-Football release date for September 30.
PES is one of the most popular football game titles out there and needs no introduction. It has been competing with the FIFA series of football games by Electronic Arts for ages now. However, the company has opted to take a different path this time. A free-to-play football game it is and this will definitely be one title to look up to in 2021.

Another important thing to note is that with a free-to-play football title, the company may plan on making FIFA gamers take up this free-to-play PC and console game. So, it will be quite interesting to see if E-Football is successful in doing so. The choice of a free-to-play model for a football game is indeed a door which leads to infinite possibilities.
Konami E-Football Gameplay Mechanics, Team Building and More
Now, although this will release as a free-to-play E-Football game, do not expect to see mediocre graphics. Konami is taking the visuals to a whole different level with this one, going by the trailer and live gameplay. The gameplay showcases something very similar to PES. The gameplay mechanics are very similar to all football games.

Besides, the game will also be a cross-platform one which will allow PC and console players to team up and play against or with each other. Cross-platform abilities makes any game much more fun and E-Football will be no different. The cutscenes and overall graphics of the game seem to be top-notch. Moreover, being a free-to-play multiplayer football game, Konami will definitely actively roll out various updates. We can expect to see different seasons which will allow players to get new content and tournaments as well.
In addition, E-Football will be based on a Match Pass System and have online leagues to compete in. There will also be a team building mode which allow players to strategically make the perfect team and set out on their journey.

However, the company has announced that it will surely add more teams gradually after the game’s official release.
