Ever since the very first Far Cry released in 2004, the franchise was bound to go a long way and, it did. The first Far Cry was based on a tropical island and 2008’s Far Cry 2 was set in Africa. Far Cry 3 went back to the tropical island theme in 2012 and was an immediate hit. Further, Far Cry 4 saw the player unleash havoc in a based country based in the Himalayas. Far Cry 5 was based on a modern day Montana and now, Ubisoft is going back to a tropical island with Far Cry 6.
The game is based on a fictional island called Yaara which is basically loosely based on modern-day Cuba. Ubisoft has recently released an overview trailer on their Ubisoft North America YouTube channel. From the looks of it, the game looks spectacular when it comes to graphics. Moreover, being a 2021 game, mid-range PC owners may worry a bit about whether they can run the game or not.
