Reliance Jio announced in June that they will launch the JioPhone Next on Ganesh Chaturthi (today) on September 10, 2021. However, the company late last night announced that its’ delayed rollout and will commence before Diwali (November 4, 2021). After the delay in the launch, this is the first time we are seeing the phone’s information surfacing online.
In a recent development, the phone has appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing some key specifications. Although this certification reiterates the earlier leaked specifications. Here’s a close look at the JioPhone Next specifications via Google Play Console listing.

JioPhone Next specs on Google Play Console
According to Google Play Console listing, it shows that the JioPhone Next will be equipped with 2GB RAM. In addition, the phone will power on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset and Adreno 306 GPU. It may run on Android 11, probably the Go Edition version. There will also be an HD+ display with 720 X 1440 pixels resolution. There will be the Google Assistant on board along with the capability of on-screen translation, automatic read-aloud, special filers for the cameras, and more.

Additionally, the listing includes a render of the phone, which shows thick bezels above and below the screen. It also comes with a selfie snapper on the top portion. In terms of optics, Reliance JioPhone Next will have a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. It is also expecting to have a swappable battery and removable back panel. Mostly because feature phone users are still into to that kind of stuff. In addition, it will have dual-SIM card slots, an essential feature for budget devices in India.

Meanwhile, pricing-wise, Jio Phone Next is said to be available in two models – one of them is the Jio Phone Next Basic model. Whereas, the other will be the JioPhone Next Advance model. The former is said to be priced around Rs. 5,000, while the latter could cost around Rs. 7,000. There will be bank offers and EMI options for customers at launch.
