Reliance recently announced its new budget smartphone in India called the JioPhone Next. The Mukesh Ambani-led telco has been aggressively working on launching new devices that help create an ecosystem. After the JioPhone 4G, the company is rumoured to launch a 5G variant later this year. Alongside, the company might launch a new laptop called the JioBook.
Some details of the Jio laptop have leaked in the past. Adding to the development is a new report by 91Mobiles. The publication has spotted some key information about the device, which reveals its software details. Let’s take a look at the JioBook specifications, features, and other details.

JioBook Laptop: All We Know so far
Reliance Jio could launch its first laptop in India later this year. The JioBook laptop has received hardware approval, suggesting an imminent launch. Spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma, the listing reveals that the Jio laptop will boot Windows 10 out of the box.
The device has the product ID 400830078. It would be a bit surprising to see a budget laptop launch in 2022 with Windows 10 when Windows 11 was made available for several laptops in October last year. It could be possible that the Jio laptop will come with the latest Windows 11 OS out of the box once the final product is ready to launch.

The listing further shows the company name as Emdoor Digital Technology Co LTD. it could be possible that Jio would be purchasing the laptop from a vendor and selling it with its own branding.
Other details of the Jio laptop remain unknown. It was previously spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website and Geekbench. The listing on Geekbench revealed that the laptop has 2GB of RAM and a MediaTek MT8788 chipset. Oddly, it was spotted running Android 11. It could be a wrong listing or possibly a different variant of the laptop.
