Jio AirFiber has launched in India with affordable plans starting at Rs.599+GST monthly. Initially introduced in 2022, this service competes with the likes of Airtel Xstream AirFiber and Vi’s Mi-Fi.
It offers broadband-like services wirelessly in locations where it is hard to lay down optical cables. There are variants of the service: AirFiber and AirFiber Max. It works on Wi-Fi 6 and can cover up to 100 sqft of area on the same floor. The company will provide a Wi-Fi router, 4K smart set-top box and voice active remote with the service.

The service will be available in eight cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
Jio AirFiber Pricing And Plans
The Jio AirFiber has launched in India with three monthly plans starting at Rs.599, Rs.899 and Rs.1,199, respectively. The cheapest plan costs Rs.599+GST and comes with 30 Mbps with unlimited data and a validity of 30 days. It also includes access to 550 digital TV channels and 14 OTT apps.

The second plan can be purchased for Rs.899+GST and offers 100Mbps speed with unlimited data for a validity of 30 days. You also get access to 550+ digital TV channels and 14 OTT apps.
The third plan is Rs.1,199+GST, which includes 100Mbps speed and a validity period of 30 days. Apart from 14 OTT apps, users can also access Netflix, Amazon Prime and JioCinema Premium with this plan.

For those looking for high-speed internet connectivity, the company also offers Jio AirFiber Max services starting at Rs.1,599.The base AirFiber Max plan costs Rs.1,499+GST and comes with 300 Mbps speed. The plan is valid for a period of 30 days and comes with 550+ digital channels.

Similarly, the 500 Mbps plan costs Rs.2499+GST and is valid for 30 days. Lastly, the 1 Gbps plan is available for Rs.3999+GST and valid for 30 days.
All AirFiber Max plans have 550+ Digital channels with 14 OTT Apps apart from Netflix, Amazon Prime and JioCinema Premium. Moreover, all Jio plans are also available in 6 or 12-month validity. Do note that these AirFiber Max plans are only available in specific areas.
How To Install Jio AirFiber?
If you wish to get a Jio AirFiber in your area, you will need to give a missed call at 60008-60008 to initiate the booking process. You can also book the service via WhatsApp, the Jio website or by visiting your nearest Jio Store. Representatives from Jio will shortly get in touch with you and install the service at your home.
The company will charge an Rs.1,000 installation fee on AirFiber plans, but this will be waived if you opt for the 12-month plan. You can also pay using the EMI option via eligible debit and credit cards.
