iQOO Neo 9 Pro Will Use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

iQOO has confirmed that the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Chinese variant of the phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset.

This means the Indian variant of the phone is likely to be a rebrand of the iQOO Neo 9 from China. Furthermore, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the phone could arrive in early February in India.

He also claims it could have a price tag of around Rs.40,000, making it the cheapest phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the country. The phone will go on sale in India via Amazon and iQOO’s website.

The teaser website also reveals the phone will have a dual-tone design on the back with a leather finish. It will boast a dual-camera setup with a “squircle” design similar to the iQOO 12.

Expected Specifications Of The Phone

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the display will have LTPO support and a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will power the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, unlike the Chinese variant, which uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. It could have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Neo 9 Pro will have a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens for optics. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
