Lava is planning to launch a new budget smartphone in India. The company has teased the debut of an affordable phone with a curved screen, likely the Lava Blaze Curve 5G.

A tweet by Lava India President Sunil Raina has hinted at the arrival of the upcoming smartphone. Here is everything you need to know about the Lavva Blaze Curve 5G.

Lava Blaze Curve 5G India Launch Teased

According to a post on X (Formerly Twitter), Sunil Raina teased the launch of a new product by posting the text “EALGVUZ5CBER” and asking his followers to guess about the upcoming phone.

Some users deciphered the text by moving around the letters to find “Lava Blaze Curve 5G”, a smartphone the company has yet to launch. As the name suggests, the phone will likely have a curved AMOLED screen with 5G connectivity.

Furthermore, it will be the second phone from the company to sport a curved display after the Lava Agni 2 5G. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone will likely compete against the iQOO Z7 Pro, Realme 11 Pro and the Infinix Zero 30 5G.

The company launched the Lava Agni 2 last year for Rs.21,999 in India. It was the first phone from Lava to feature a curved screen. The Lava Agni 2 5G sports a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120HZ refresh rate.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset powers the phone paired with 8GB of RAM. It runs on Android 13 out of the box and has 256GB of internal storage.

For optics, it has a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. In addition, there is a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. You also get a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The Lava Agni 2 5G packs a 4,700mAh battery with support for 66W charging. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.
