Vivo sub-brand iQOO has finally launched their iQOO 9 Series of phones in India. This flagship series includes three models namely – iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro and iQOO 9 SE. The smartphones are powered by flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, offer 5G and start in the under Rs. 35,000. Additionally, iQOO is offering major discounts for interested buyers as well. Here’s a quick rundown of all these details!

iQOO 9 Series Price in India & Availability

The standard iQOO 9 price in India starts at Rs. 42,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 46,990.

On the other hand, the iQOO 9 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 64,990 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 69,990.

Lastly, the iQOO 9 SE price in India has been set at Rs. 33,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant. This model has a 12GB/256GB variant as well which comes with a price tag of Rs. 37,990.

Talking about offers, ICICI bank credit and credit card EMI users get flat Rs. 6,000 discount. Additionally, buyers can also avail an extra Rs. 4,000 off on exchange of their old smartphones. Besides, no-cost EMI options up to 12 months are available as well. This brings down the price of the handsets to Rs. 58,990, Rs. 38,990 and Rs. 30,990, respectively.

When it comes to the availability of the handsets, they will go on sale via Amazon. The standard and Pro models will be up for pre-ordering from February 23 2022. However, the iQOO 9 SE will be available for pre-ordering on March 2 2022.

Talking about the display first, the Pro model features a huge 6.78-inch 2K E5 AMOLED display. In addition, the display is based on LTPO 2.0 and offers a fast 120Hz Adaptive Refresh Rate.

Under the hood, the iQOO 9 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The octa-core 5G chipset pairs up with 12GB of Enhanced LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of Enhanced UFS 3.1 internal storage. The flagship phone offers an Ultra Game Mode for avid mobile gamers to make use of as well. There is also a Vapour Chamber Liquid Cooling System to further enhance the gaming experience.

In terms of optics, the iQOO 9 Pro specs include a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel GN5 primary rear camera sensor with Gimbal Stabilisation. Further, there is another 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor in the setup which offers a 150 degree FOV. Then, there is also a 16-megapixel 60mm Portrait sensor with 2.5x Optical Zoom.

The smartphone packs a 4,700mAh battery with 120W FlashCharge fast charging support. The device also brings 50W Wireless FlashCharge fast charging support. Additional features include a Dual Stereo Speaker setup, 4D Game Vibration and a 3D Ultrasonic Large Fingerprint Sensor. The handset comes in the Legend and Dark Cruise colour options.

The iQOO 9 is a toned down version of the iQOO 9 Pro 5G. For starters, it features a smaller 6.56-inch FHD+ 10-bit AMOLED display. In addition, we get to see the same fast 120Hz refresh rate along with 300Hz touch sampling rate. This pairs up with a 1000Hz Instant Touch feature.

On the processor font, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ 5G SoC. This chipset is slightly toned down when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on the iQOO 9 Pro 5G. The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

When it comes to optics, the standard model sports a triple rear camera setup as well. We get to see a 48-megapixel primary sensor with Gimbal Stabilisation. In addition, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with 120 degree FOV and 13-megapixel 50mm portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom sensors accompany the primary sensor.

The standard model also packs a smaller 4,350mAh battery when compared to the iQOO 9 Pro battery. However, we get to see the same 120W fast charging tech on this handset too. Additional features include a Dual X-Axis Linear Motor, In-Display Dual Monster Touch and more.

The 9 SE shares a lot of similarities to the standard model. So, let us take about the differences. The iQOO 9 SE comes with a larger 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. We get to see a 120Hz refresh rate display on this model too. Other display specs remain the same.

Under the hood, instead of the Snapdragon 888+, the iQOO 9 SE offers the Snapdragon 888 SoC. This is a tad bit less powerful than the Snapdragon 888+ SoC. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 makes the iQOO 9 Pro the most powerful and premium in the series.

Even when it comes to optics, the smartphone shares a lot of similarities with the standard iQOO 9 5G. The only difference is that instead of a portrait sensor, we get to see a Mono sensor in its triple rear camera setup.

The handset offers a 4,500mAh battery, which is more than that of the standard. However, it is slightly less than the 4,700mAh battery the iQOO 9 Pro packs. Moreover, we get to see 66W FlashCharge fast charging support instead of 120W on the other two models. Everything else remains the same.
