Successors to the iQOO 7 series from January, iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro have already launched in China. Now, in a recent leak, 91mobiles via industry sources reveal that iQOO 8 Legend will launch in the country later this year. Specifically, it can launch during the festive time this year which means October or November. However, nothing from the official sources have come out yet. In a recent development, 91mobiles has learned from industry sources the standard variant till also tag along with iQOO 8 Legend.

Now, as of now, the company has not revealed anything in terms of specs for the device. Although rumours suggest that it can be a rebrand of the iQOO 8 Pro that launched in China earlier this year. On the other hand, the Indian variants of the series have started surfacing on the web with certifications.

iQOO 8, iQOO 8 Legend: What We Know
In terms of specs, the iQOO 8 Legend can have more or less the same specs as the Chinese iQOO8 Pro variant. It bears a 6.78-inch 2K (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 517ppi pixel density, and HDR compatibility. It powers on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC along with the Adreno 660 GPU. There is also up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage is available.

Whereas, the vanilla iQOO 8 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 for iQOO on top. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security and a 4,350mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It sports a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 X 2,376 pixels resolution. In addition, it also features a 120Hz refresh rate, 92.76 screen-to-body ratio, 398 PPI, and 19:8:9 aspect ratio.
