Apple is planning to unveil iPhone 15 Series this year and as per Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming lineup will adopt the Wi-Fi 6E standard. The lineup will most likely include the vanilla Apple iPhone 15 and Apple iPhone 15 Plus models, along with the Apple iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max/ Apple iPhone 15 Ultra. However, it is uncertain if the Wi-Fi 6E will be available on all iPhone 15 models or limited only to the Pro models. Presently, Apple offers this connectivity feature on MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models.
Wi-Fi 6E uses 6GHz bands, along with the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands supported by Wi-Fi 6 technology. Its wireless band support enables it to deliver fast transfer speeds, low latency, and reduced signal interference. Let us know more about the Wifi 6E technology in this article.

Using compatible routers and cable modems, devices with Wi-FI 6E support can connect to the 6GHz band. Providing faster speed, lower latency, and less interference than the user might experience on the standard 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. In contrast, the older Wi-Fi 6 standard could only connect to networks at 2.4GHz and 5GHz. If the leaks turn out to be true then it will be the first Wi-Fi standard that can connect to networks at 6GHz.
However, to get the most out of the Wi-Fi 6E, users need a Wi-Fi 6E router. Moreover, a report by MacRumors claims that several manufacturers, including Linksys, ASUS, and Netgear, are already offering Wi-Fi 6E hardware. We hope to know more about the latest Wi-Fi connectivity feature in the coming days.
Rumours suggest, that the lineup may arrive by September, this year. Moreover, a report reveals that Pro models will have noticeably thinner bezels than previous models. Whereas, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max might feature curved edges. However, the report suggests that the curved edges will only be applied to the cover glass as the display will be flat. Lastly, sources suggest that the Pro models may come with solid-state volume buttons.
