  • Apple is all set to upgrade the iPad Pro with a bigger display, faster chipset and a better quality screen. According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the next-generation iPad Pro will feature Apple’s M3 chipset and have an OLED screen. This will make it the first major hardware upgrade for the iPad Pro lineup in six years.

The Cupertino giant will also release a new version of the Magic keyboard keyboard. This will have an aluminium casing and a larger trackpad to make the iPad Pro look similar to the MacBook. Gurman claims it will be a premium product, and switching to an aluminium case will result in a more sturdier design. The top part of the case will be made of aluminium, a first for the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad.

The keyboard’s exterior will have a single USB port and will retain the cover material of the existing model. The good news is that there won’t be a significant difference in the weight, but the keyboard’s cost could increase. Gurman believes that the usage of premium materials could result in a price hike for the Apple Keyboard.

New Apple Magic Keyboard And iPad Pros Coming Next Year

The Apple Magic Keyboard currently retails for Rs.29,999 for the iPad Pro 11-inch and Rs.33,900 for the iPad Pro 12.9-inch. The updated Magic Keyboard and the new iPad Pros could arrive in the second half of next year.

The iPad Pro will receive a significant revamp with a new OLED screen and M3 chips and will be available in two sizes: 11-inch and 13-inch. Currently, the largest iPad Pro in the company’s lineup has a screen size of 12.9 inches. While these won’t launch at the upcoming “Wonderlust” event, it’s certainly exciting news for potential iPad Pro users waiting for an upgrade.
