Super-fast 5G is now available to Airtel and Jio subscribers in India with Apple’s iOS 16 5G beta software program launch.
Last month, 5G services were launched in India, and soon after, several companies of smartphones began releasing upgrades to support 5G. Moreover, Apple iPhone users can now enjoy the 5G services, if they are enrolled in the iOS beta program.
The Beta program enables users to test pre-release software and take advantage of the newest features before the software will be accessible to the general public.

To support 5G on Apple devices in India, Apple releases a beta update. Furthermore, users may now test out early versions of software that support 5G networks there. As soon as service providers Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea (Vi) permit access to the 5G network, this software update will enable a 5G connection on compatible iPhone models. Additionally, Apple users must download the program, install a profile, and sign up for the Beta program on the website.
As part of Apple’s iOS 16 Beta Software Program, subscribers of Airtel and Jio with Apple iPhone 14, Apple iPhone 13, Apple iPhone 12, and Apple iPhone SE (2022) devices may enjoy 5G. Anyone with an active Apple ID who accepts the terms of the Apple Beta Software Program Agreement during the registration procedure can join the program. Moreover, the users may utilise their Apple IDs if they already have an iCloud account. They can set one up if they don’t have an iCloud account or another Apple ID.

How to Participate in the iOS 16 5G Beta Program
Users must first enroll in the Apple Beta Software Program with their Apple ID to install these public betas. Apple provides complete instructions on this in the beta FAQ section.
After enrolling in the Apple Beta Software Program, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update on your chosen device to download the update. Before beginning the procedure, you must have at least 50 per cent battery power and a strong Wi-Fi connection.
Customers wishing to test the beta version should back up their iPhones before downloading. Beta software should be installed only on non-production devices that are not business-essential.
