Apple has finally rolled out their iOS 15.0.2 update for iPhone users to download and install. Additionally, the iPad OS 15.0.2 update is live now as well. Both these updates bring fixes to a variety of different issues that have been widely reported recently. From the Photo Bug to a couple of vital security vulnerabilities, the new updates bring fixes to a lot of issues.

iOS 15.0.2, iPad OS 15.0.2: Everything New
Prior to this update, Apple rolled out their iOS 15.0.1 update which brought certain fixes. There was an issue wherein users could not unlock their iPhone using their Apple Watch Series device. Now, we are getting the iOS 15.0.2 update which offers users with fixes to several bugs. This also includes the widely reported Photo bug which caused photos saved from Messages to Photos Library to disappear when the message or thread was deleted.
In addition, we also get to see a fix for the iPhone Leather Wallet. This particular cover that comes with MagSafe could not connect to Find My iPhone feature. Moreover, the bug wherein AirTag disappeared from the Find My Items tab has also been fixed via the iOS 15.0.2 update.

There was another bug which prevented CarPlay from opening audio apps or disconnecting during playbacks. The iOS 15.0.2 update brings a fix to this particular problem as well. There was also a zero day vulnerability which allowed the arbitrary code execution when it came to kernel privileges. This particular vulnerability has been fixed as well for enhanced security.
iPad OS 15.0.2 is very similar to the iOS 15.0.2 update. It brings similar bug fixes and security fixes like the zero-day vulnerability. In addition, iPad users were facing an issue wherein they were unable to restore and update the device via Finder or iTunes. This has now been acknowledged and fixed via the iPad OS 15.0.2 update.
iOS 15.0.2 & iPadOS 15.0.2: Steps to Update
In order to download and install iOS 15.0.2, all you need to do is follow a couple of simple steps. These are:
Step 1: First of all, connect your device to a charger and then to a Wi-Fi.
Step 2: Then, head over to your device Settings > General. Now, tap on Software Update.
Step 3: There will be a new iOS or iPad OS version available for download and install here. Tap on it and download it.
Step 4: After it is downloaded, just tap on Install and enter your passcode. Voila! You have officially updated to the latest iOS 15.0.2 or iPad OS 15.0.2!
