According to The New York Post, a photo of the gravestone went viral. Gravestone was on the rooftop of a café in Gyeongju, South Korea. South Korea which boasts one of the fastest average internet speeds in the world, has stayed strangely linked to Internet Explorer, which was retired after 27 years of service.

According to the Washington Post, Microsoft said on Wednesday that it will no longer support Internet Explorer. The once-dominant browser that billions of internet users had a love-hate relationship with.
Internet Explorer has joined the ranks of BlackBerry phones, dial-up modems, and Palm Pilots in its demise.

Engineer Kiyong Jung created a gravestone on the rooftop of a café in Gyeongju, South Korea. He spent $330 on a gravestone to honour the browser’s passing. The image of the gravestone has gone viral on social media. The inscription on the headstone reads, “He was a good tool for downloading other browsers.”
According to the news agency Reuters, Jung’s tribute reflected his conflicted feelings regarding the programme that had played such an important role in his professional life.
Internet Explorer 11:Runs Out Of Microsoft Support
Microsoft will discontinue support for the Internet Explorer 11 desktop software in Windows 10’s Semi-Annual Channel on June 15, 2022. If you’re on Windows Server 2022 or an earlier OS release with a long-term service extension, you’ll still get IE11 support, but for most others, this is the end of software upgrades.
