On Wednesday, a brand official revealed that the Infinix Zero 5G would receive an update to Android 12 later this year. The Infinix phone got its official launch in India last week as the company’s first 5G phone. The phone runs Android 11 with a layer of XOS 10 on top. In addition, a 120Hz display is there in the phone features.
According to Anish Kapoor, India CEO, the phone will receive the Android 12 upgrade in August.
Infinix usually keeps its Android upgrade plans under wraps. In addition, the company isn’t known for releasing software upgrades quickly. However, the phone is an exception since the new model, which debuted as the company’s first 5G phone, looks to be attracting users.
