NBCU’s first-ever live broadcast of a Winter Games Opening Ceremony begins at 6:30 a.m.
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m: The Today programme will have a special edition with interviews with Olympians and reactions to the Opening Ceremony.
12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m: Further, NBCU’s first-ever afternoon programme will recap the Opening Ceremony highlights and look forward to the key themes of the Beijing Olympics.
8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m: In addition to the customary performances, pageantry, and the Parade of Nations, this year’s Opening Ceremony will have an upgraded primetime presentation that will feature Team USA athletes in particular.
