Gionee G13 Pro debuted in China on January 28, 2022. The smartphone has a design similar to Apple iPhone 13 with a similar flat frame, camera module, and even the notch for the selfie camera. Gionee G13 Pro smartphone runs HarmonyOS and is powered by a Unisoc T310 SoC. Gionee G13 Pro also gets an Elderly Mode as well as a Smart Mode. Gionee G13 Pro: Specifications
The Gionee smartphone gets a 6.26-inch FHD+ LCD with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 5-megapixel selfie cam tucked inside the notch which can be used to unlock the phone. The device is powered by the Unisoc T310 chipset with 4GB RAM and 32/128GB storage. There’s a 13-megapixel main cam as well as a 2-megapixel macro shooter on the back. The battery comes in at 3,500 mAh and charges via USB-C.

Connectivity options on Gionee G13 Pro include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As mentioned earlier, Gionee G13 Pro features an Elderly Mode and a Smart Mode. The former makes the smartphone easier to use for the elderly by increasing the size of the font as well as the icons. It also sends health codes, payment codes, and makes it more practical to use. Smart Mode is touted to be suitable for younger, office-going users who need a more efficient UI experience. Also, the smartphone support face unlocks for security.
Gionee G13 Pro supports multiple software openings and allows multiple WeChat accounts to open concurrently. It also supports split-screen mode that is claimed to let users play and chat at the same time. Furthermore, it also supports Huawei’s HMS ecosystem.
Price and Availability
Gionee 13 Pro comes in four colour options – blue, gold, purple and black. The baseline 4/32GB model starts at CNY 529 ($83) while the 4/128GB version will sell for CNY 699 ($110). It is already on open sale in China from online retailer JD.com. The details regarding the global launch are still not out yet.
