The Garmin Forerunner 55 fitness smartwatch has been launched in India on Friday, after its release in the United States earlier this month. The smartwatch is available in three colors and has a round dial. The Garmin Forerunner 55 is water-resistant to 5 ATMs and offers a long battery life. Because it uses a standard 20mm strap, it’s simple to find replacement straps from watch accessory shops. The smartwatch SpO2 monitor also includes a number of health-monitoring features. The Garmin Forerunner 55 also has GPS functionality.

The Garmin Forerunner 55 has a 1.04-inch round color display having a resolution of 208×208 pixels. It employs a transflective, sunlight-visible memory-in-pixel (MIP) panel backed by the chemically strengthened glass. The smartwatch has Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with both iOS and Android. It has a 5 ATM water-resistant rating, GPS connectivity, and a 200-hour activity data recording capacity.
The battery may last up to 2 weeks in smartwatch mode and approximately 20 hours in GPS mode, according to Garmin. The smartwatch may be used to set alarms, timers, stopwatches, and sunrise/sunset times, among other things. It can also track your phone and supports the Find My Watch feature. GLONASS, Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate monitor, and accelerometer are among the sensors present, in addition to GPS.
