Several Instagram users have reported a strange glitch. According to Twitter posts, users claim that their accounts were strangely suspended without warning. Affected users may also be unable to retrieve their accounts despite selecting the ‘Disagree with decision’ option. According to Downdector, an outage tracking service, several users in India and other countries are experiencing login issues, while others are experiencing “server connection” issues.

Meanwhile, Meta has acknowledged that it is a server-side issue, and the company is investigating. According to a tweet from the company, “We are aware that some of you are experiencing difficulties accessing your account. We’re investigating and apologise for the inconvenience.”
It is significant to note that this glitch will affect only some users while others can use the app without issue. Other Meta-owned platforms, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Messenger, are fully operational.
Last week, Meta’s instant messaging platform, WhatsApp, experienced a significant outage in India and other countries. Due to the outage, the app and web client were unavailable for nearly two hours. The company later clarified that WhatsApp was unavailable due to “configuration changes on the backbone routers.”
