In the transition to Google Assistant, Google appears to be working on a new AI assistant called “Pixie” that will be exclusive to Pixel devices. According to The Information, Google is working on it.
Google recently introduced Gemini. It was a revolutionary basic model that could perform a variety of tasks in the natural language, computer vision, and audio fields. Gemini is already available to developers. But Google is also working on integrating it into its products and services.

What Is The AI Assistant Pixie, Reason Of Development?
One of Google’s most interesting future projects is AI Assistant “Pixie”. Pixie is a new AI assistant available exclusively for Pixel devices. Pixie is most probably associated with Google’s new AI model, Gemini. According to reports, Pixie will be launched first with Google Pixel 9. Eventually, Google wants to bring the feature to lower-end phones and devices like the Watch.

According to a report in The Information, Pixie uses Gemini to access and analyze data from her Gmail, Maps, and other Google products on a user’s phone. The aim is to create a more personalised and contextual version of his Google Assistant. So, it will be capable of performing complex and multimodal tasks. For example, it might suggest directions to the nearest store where you can buy the item in the photo.
As for the launch, Pixie may debut with his Google Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro. Given the timing, it appears that Pixie is not Assistant with Bard (AWB). AWB is a casual interface that can develop natural language responses based on Gemini functionality. The Pixel team said the broader Gemini family of models will be able to take advantage of new features in the Assistant with Bard experience on Pixel early next year.
Google said AWB will also likely be compatible with Samsung and iOS devices. In the meantime, AWB isn’t exclusive to his Pixel. Pixie could be the next version of Assistant with Bard, with exclusivity very similar to the next-generation Assistant.

Another feature mentioned in the report is that Google may use the power of AI to develop glasses that can recognize objects and provide guidance and information. For example, glasses can help users solve math problems, learn to play musical instruments, and use tools.
