What is Eche?
Streaming is the present and looks all set to be the future of infotainment as well. Google is trying to maximize profit on this opportunity naturally and that is why they are building a feature “Eche”. Despite no conclusive announcement by Google, a video clip has emerged that shows the working of the feature.
This feature, which was touted to be working only on Android 13 was seen to be operational on Windows 11 as well. This feature is also supposed to be greatly integrated with Chrome OS. Eche is supposed to be a system app in Google Pixel and users won’t have to download any other google or third party apps for this to work.

The inside information
9to5Google reports that they were able to spot two such system apps which were capable of cross-sharing. One is meant to share on Android phones like Pixel devices and another web app is meant to cross-share on Windows 11 devices. The device will not be strictly professional-looking as Google has been putting plenty of emphasis on design as well. It promises to offer multicolour background as well as making the app extremely interactive, to make the users feel as if the app is open on their tablets or laptops.
Google already has “Phone Hub” technology to mirror the phone’s notifications on PC.
