CMF shared a short video on X on Saturday, April 5, 2025, showing the CMF Phone 2 rear panel. It looks sleek with a matte finish that feels smooth and glossy. The edges are plastic, and there’s a screw holding the back in place—just like the CMF Phone 1. The CMF logo sits on the bottom left and changes color when you tilt the phone. We don’t know yet if the back is plastic or aluminum, but the current phone uses plastic or vegan leather. This new textured design makes the CMF Phone 2 rear panel stand out and feel premium.

The CMF Phone 2 promises some fun upgrades. Leaks suggest it will have three rear cameras, a big step up from the two on the Phone 1. That means better photos! It might also keep the Accessory Point system, letting you add things like a stand or card case, just like before. The Phone 1 had a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. The CMF Phone 2 could improve on these with small tweaks. Nothing hasn’t said when it launches, but the teaser means it’s coming soon. Get ready for a stylish and powerful budget phone!
