Closed Beta Testing (CBT) for OnePlus Nord 2 5G OxygenOS 12 is now available for Indian customers, the firm said on the OnePlus Community forum. The Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition smartphone is not yet there in the programme. The Chinese firm aims to hire 200 closed beta testers for the short-term beta testing programme.
In July of last year, the smartphone was launched in India. The OnePlus Nord was a successor to the smartphone and featured a larger primary camera, a larger battery, and quicker charging as noteworthy advancements.
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G CBT is the first step towards a final release that will be more reliable. Open Beta is usually announces after the CBT, followed by a Stable release from OnePlus. This CBT will not be a long-term treatment, unlike its traditional method.

Only a few builds will get release as part of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s CBT programme. In addition to being restrict to OnePlus Nord 2 customers in India, the current programme does not include the Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition.
To participate in the CBT programme, OnePlus will choose 200 smartphone owners to sign a non-disclosure agreement with the firm. In addition, they need to interact, report bugs/issues, and provide recommendations to the software team through Telegram on an ongoing basis.

Specifications of OnePlus Nord 2 5G
OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11 powers the dual-SIM (Nano) OnePlus Nord 2 5G. A fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio is there in the 6.43-inch model. The smartphone runs by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
It has three cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.88 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 2-megapixel black-and-white sensor. In addition, this phone has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front-facing camera.
Up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage may be there on the smartphone. Connectivity choices include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth v5.2, to name a few.

As a bonus, the phone has an on-screen fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is likely by a 4,500mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 65 fast-charging. The 158.9×73.2×8.25mm and 189 g weight of the smartphone are impressive.
