CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher Witcher 3 Next-Gen: Wild Hunt will be releasing in the last three months of this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. On Twitter, the developer verified the news of the release. For the last-gen version, this update will be available for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. However, the developer now appears to be sure that the improved version will be released this year.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Updated Version To Release in Q4 2022
The game was out in September, with a release date set for 2021. This launch has been postponed “until further notice” till April of this year. Following this, the developer issued a statement claiming that the game was not stuck in development hell.

At the time, Saber Interactive’s development on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition had been taken over by the developer’s in-house team (also handled the Nintendo Switch port of the base game). However, the developer now appears to be sure that the improved version will be released this year.
Along with The Witcher 3, CD Projekt had planned to release Cyberpunk 2077’s next-gen updates in 2021, however both were postponed. The version of Cyberpunk 2077 was released in February 15, 2022, of this year, with important upgrades such as ray tracing capabilities and better loading times.
