BGMI 3.3 Update Arriving Soon: Release Date, Features & More

Krafton is gearing up to release the next major 3.3 update for BGMI. This update will introduce a new theme called Ocean Odyssey, with exciting underwater adventures in three maps: Livik, Erangel, and Sanhok. It will likely offer an Aquaman-like experience, allowing players to explore Atlantis-like islands underwater.

BGMI 3.3 Update To Bring Underwater Maps

The BGMI 3.3 Update will arrive by the end of this month, possibly around July 27 or July 28, with several amazing features. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this release date.

The main highlight of the upcoming BGMI 3.3 Update will be its new Ocean Odyssey Mode, where players can engage in amazing underwater fights. Furthermore, players can find a new Ocean Place with unique loot in every corner.

In addition, the BGMI 3.3 update will introduce a new flying StingRay fish that will allow players to fly in the skies. You can find these fishes as a part of the loot on the ground, unlocking a new way of traversing the environment.

The Forsaken Ruins area found underwater is another area where you can discover exciting loot in a cave. However, you will need to find buttons to access and unlock this valuable loot.

New Weapons And Items

Furthermore, it will also bring a new Trident weapon that players can use to create tornados and throw their opponents into them. You can also use this tornado to travel from one place to another.

This unique weapon, available at various Points of Interest, is also useful for eliminating enemies. Moreover, players can also discover the new Water Orb Blaster weapon that generates bubbles in the air to dash through them.

The Orb Blaster can create two bubbles at once, making the third bubble resulting in the player falling to the ground. Similarly, the Bubble Grenade can trap enemies in a large bubble. You find this grenade in different events, and it is a useful weapon for entrapping your opponents.

In addition, there is a new DSR Sniper Rifle, although the details of this weapon are currently unknown. Similarly, you will also get a new Ray Core that summons Strigray fish to travel from one place to another. With this Ray Core, you can also attack another player by creating water bubbles.

Keeping up with the underwater theme, the update will introduce water drops instead of air drops with an inspired design. Another change in the BGMI 3.3 update will be adjustments to Erangel, including an overhaul of the Mylta section and comprehensive changes.
