Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro will be launching in India soon. The smartphones back last year with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. But now the smartphones will be launching in India next week. Both the Asus smartphones feature 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E4 displays with a 144Hz refresh rate. However, there is no information on the specifications of the Indian variants.
Earlier today, the Asus ROG Phone 5s micro-site went live on Flipkart. The company also posted a teaser on social media channels for the upcoming launch. Take a look at the teaser:
The Asus phones will launch via a virtual event that will be live streaming on the company’s YouTube channel. Although Asus hasn’t revealed any further information about the phone. It is to be seen whether the India variants will have the same specifications as the ones unveiled in August last year.

Asus ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro Specifications (Global Variant)
Both the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro run Android 11 with ROG UI skin on top. They sport 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,448 pixels) Samsung AMOLED E4 displays with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Moreover, they both have a 144Hz refresh rate.
Moreover, the global models, announced last year, are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoCs. They also come paired with up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of onboard storage options.

In terms of optics, both Asus ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro sport a triple rear camera setup. The camera module comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 24-megapixel primary sensor is present on both phones. Both the smartphones pack 6,000mAh batteries with 65W fast charging support. They also sport dual front-facing stereo speakers. Each phone features 5G, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port for connectivity.

Furthermore, the ROG 5s series devices retail in two colour options – Phantom Black and Aurora White. Now, the vanilla model opts for an RGB-backlit ROG logo. Whereas, the Pro model has a PMOLED display on the back. While you get ultrasonic AirTrigger 5 shoulder buttons on both models, the Pro version also gets two touch sensors on the back.
