Asus recently launched the Zenfone 8 series globally. However, it is yet to enter the Indian market as of now. But it is likely that the company will launch the series as the Asus 8Z series in the country. The lineup includes two variants- ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip. Although, if the renaming is true, then the moniker for the Indian variant will be Asus8Z and Asus 8ZFlip. The series has surfaced online with several leaks and rumors in the past weeks. Moreover, considering its global launch, we have an idea of what it will offer in terms of specs.

Asus 8Z Series India Launch Imminent as Product Page Goes Live
According to the support page, it reveals complete specifications. But it does not confirm is the series’s launch date in India. However, it will not be long before we get the details of its launch date and pricing.
Ahead of the launch, tipster Mukul Sharma first spots the product page of the Asus 8Z series on the company website. In terms of specs, it will sport a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10 and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone ships with the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC coupled with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it will also feature a dual-camera setup at the back, with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor that has a macro mode. There is a 12MP front camera for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

On the other hand, the Asus 8Z Flip in the series will be an all-screen design without any hole-punch cutout. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. In addition, it comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, it sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 4cm macro mode, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 12x digital zoom. Meanwhile, both the devices pack a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
