Assassin’s Creed franchise has been one of the pinnacles of fantasy games and has constantly improvised with their storytelling and gameplay to keep it fresh and desirable for years. The newest addition is about to come on March 10 in the form of Dawn of Ragnarok. This is being dubbed as the most ambitious attempt at an expansion ever made by the franchise.

The story traces Odin after he reaches Svartalfheim to find his son Baldr. Sutr, the main villain, who is unkillable makes the story fascinating. Ragnarok will always be the thorn in Odin’s shoe. The prophecy of Gods and Men perishing while monsters kill them is another great subplot for the gameplay. The main geographical location where the gameplay will take place is supposed to be Svartalfheim, the place where there are titanic monsters and dreamy landscapes joining hands to create a surreal experience.

Odin, the protagonist of Dawn of Ragnarok will garner new powers and abilities that will be useful in both battle and restoration of health. They will also assist in locomotion as well. This huge arsenal of abilities is something that is alien to Assassin’s Creed characters but now Ubisoft has decided to take a new path and go ahead with a new form of storytelling.
