According to a display analyst, Apple may be working on a larger iPad Pro model with a 14.1-inch tiny LED display and an M2 chipset for a possible release in early 2023. On Thursday, Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) stated that his supply chain sources confirmed the development of a 14.1-inch iPad Pro. He also mentioned that the device will have ProMotion, Face ID, and tiny LED backlighting.

Apple Developing 14.1-inch iPad Pro: What To Expect?
The statement from the display analyst appears to be in reaction to a tidbit from leaker Majin Bu on Wednesday. According to Bu, company is working on a 14.1-inch iPad Pro with an M2 chip and 16GB of storage. He went on to say that the tablet would be introduced with an 11-inch iPad Pro and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro with thinner bezels.
The two rumours are the first time we’ve heard anything about a 14.-inch display size in particular. However, Bloomberg reported in June 2021 that Apple was investigating iPad Pro devices with bigger displays.

Young has a proven track record of reporting accurate display information. Bu’s track record is significantly more hit-or-miss, but the leaker looks to have released accurate information about Apple’s Stage Manager before WWDC 2022.
Bloomberg reported at the time that Apple was solely looking into larger display sizes for its tablets. It went on to say that a version with a larger screen would be available “a couple of years down the line at the most.”
