Apple updated its AirPods collection last year with the release of the third-generation AirPods. The new AirPods will be the mid version of the second-generation AirPods and the AirPods Pro, which debuted a few years back. Later this year, Apple is likely to unveil the second-generation AirPods Pro. According to previous rumours, the next Pro Apple TWS will release in March 2022. That clearly did not happen; according to a fresh report, the new AirPods will debut in the second half of 2022.
The updated schedule for the AirPods Pro was announced by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo on Twitter.

AirPods Pro Second-Generation Launch Date Tipped
Apple is likely to release the second-generation AirPods Pro later this year. The debut date is yet to be formally announced by the company. In June, Apple will host WWDC 2022. However, the new AirPods will not debut at the event. As it is specifically for software and developer-related announcements. According to expert Kuo, the new AirPods Pro will release in the second half of 2022.
In October of this year, Apple released the first-generation AirPods Pro. Even, the second generation Airpods may launch during this time. The new TWS will possibly unveil at the Apple iPhone 14 launch event in September 2022, according to reports. There is no official or rumoured launch month for the Pro Apple TWS at this time.

The TWS has had several crucial details leaked in the past. According to Kuo, the new premium AirPods will have a much improved wireless processor over the H1 chip seen in the original AirPods Pro. Improvements in active noise reduction, longer battery life, and additional audio-related functionality are all to be expected. Apple Music may offer lossless audio with the new AirPods Pro.
The stem design on the Pro AirPods will remain the same. The stem will be removed from the AirPods Pro next year, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. New motion sensors are expected to be included in the Pro model, which will bring new fitness functions.

The charging case, on the other hand, will be slightly different, with speaker holes on either side of the bottom-mounted lightning connector. In iOS 16, Apple is likely to include a “Find My” function that allows users to play a sound for the case independently.
