Acer, a common name in computer and accessories, will now venture into the Television domain in India with Acer Smart TVs. The units will be manufactured by Dixon in India. Acer TVs will enter the market to satisfy the needs of all types of customers, ranging from the budget segment of 32-inch TVs to the Premium segment with 70-inch screen size. With no certainty in the release dates, it is likely to be launched in India next month.

The upcoming Acer TVs will run Android TV OS and support popular apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube. It also will have Google Assistant, meaning you can control the TV with just your voice. The Acer Smart TVs will come with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, and HDMI connectivity options and premium features like Micro Dimming and Dolby Audio. Some models will also come with a frameless design.
Acer HD and 4K Smart TV Specifications
Acer TVs will be available in screen sizes ranging from 32-inch to 70-inch. The HD Ready TV will have a screen of 32-inch size, 60 Hz refresh rate, and a RAM of 1.5GB. The device will have a 3000:1 contract ratio. The 32-inch model will be available in a standard version and a frameless variant. The Acer Smart 42-inch FHD Android TV will have a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The 4K Acer Smart TV models will be available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 58-inch, and 70-inch screen sizes. These will run on 2GB RAM and have a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It will also have a feature of UHD upscaling. This particular model will have a frameless design.
So far now, the price details haven’t been confirmed. But with Acer trying to woo all types of consumers, the speculated price of Acer Smart TVs is approximately between Rs 20,000 and Rs 80,000. While the full features haven’t been confirmed as of yet, the launch of Acer TVs in India next month will seal the deal.
