Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro To Launch In India On October 15

Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in India. The launch date has been scheduled for October 15 in the country.

Recently, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10T, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10T Lite in Europe. Now, less than a week after the international launch of these devices, the company is all set to launch the Mi 10T series in India. The company launched the Mi 10 in India way back in May and the 10T series will be its next flagship series.

Xiaomi MD Manu Kumar Jain took to Twitter to officially confirm the launch date of the series to be October 15. Jain states in the Tweet that, “Mi Fans want us to launch #Mi10TSeries ASAP. Your wish is our command. Yes! #Mi10TPro and #Mi10T are coming to #India in just keycap 10 days – on October 15.”

The report suggests that Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Furthermore, we might see a high refresh rate of 144Hz on a HDR10+ certified display. We will also see a Gorilla Glass protection at the front for protection. The Mi 10T Pro runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Moreover, the octa-core chipset will be paired with the Adreno 650 GPU. We will also see 8GB of RAM and upto 256GB of internal storage options to choose from.

On the camera front, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is likely to feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a primary whopping 108-megapixel camera with OIS. Additionally, there is an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom alongside a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Furthermore, the cameras can record in 8K 30FPS as well as in 4K UHD at up to 60FPS. On the front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter integrated within the punch-hole design.

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro packs has a 5000 mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. Additionally, there is a 30W fast wireless charging support as well. Furthermore, we will also see a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

When it comes to the Xiaomi Mi 10T, it has similar specifications apart from a few things. For starters, it will have 6GB of RAM and a 640megapixel primary rear camera setup unlike the 108-megapixel in the 10T Pro.

Price And Availability

The Mi 10T price in Europe has been set at EUR 499 which is roughly Rs. 43,000 in India. This is the price for the 6GB/128GB variant. Moreover, the 8GB/128GB variant is priced at EUR 549 which is roughly Rs. 47,200.

On the other hand, the Mi 10T Pro price in Europe has been set at EUR 599 which is roughly Rs. 51,700. This is the price for the base 8GB/128GB variant and the 8GB/256GB variant is priced at EUR 649. This converts to approximately Rs. 56,000.

When it comes to the color options, the Mi 10T comes in two namely Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver. The Mi 10T Pro comes in an additional color option namely the Aurora Blue. When it comes to the availability of the devices, they will go on sale on Flipkart. This is because Flipkart has added a dedicated page for the upcoming devices.

These flagship Xiaomi devices will definitely take the Indian market by storm upon their release. Not only do they have amazing specifications but all of that at a great price as well. This series definitely looks like another big possible hit in the country.
