In May, LG announced the LG Velvet 5G smartphone with an attractive design. However, tipster Mukul Sharma reveals that the LG Velvet smartphone will come to India soon.

The company announced its new strategy by launching the new Velvet series in South Korea and the US. They have given it a try with a more affordable mid-range option like the new LG Velvet 5G. The phone has a metal-glass body with a waterdrop notch design and curved edges.

According to the tipster, it will be launching internally in India for LG employees on Oct 4. In turn, this will make LG Velvet 5G official the same day.
LG Velvet 5G Specifications
It features a 6.8-inch P-OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. In addition, it comes with 128 GB of internal storage. The device has a microSD card slot for additional storage.

In terms of optics, it houses a triple camera system that includes a 48-MP main lens, an 8-MP ultrawide shooter, and a 5-MP depth sensor. Moreover, the LG Velvet 5G has a 16-MP camera on the front.
It packs a 4,300mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Additionally, it comes with a 9W wireless charging support. It comes with an integrated fingerprint reader.

Connectivity options include a dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port. It also has stereo speakers and is IP68 rated.
LG Velvet 5G bears a price-tag of KRW 8,99,800 (approximately Rs. 56,200) in South Korea. However, the pricing and availability details of the handset in India will be announced at the time of launch.
