- Open the Paytm app on your phone.
- Log in, if not already.

- Now further scroll down to find “Transit> Metro Recharge”. Tap on it.

Another way to recharge metro card online is through Airtel Thanks app. Here’s how:
- Open the Airtel Thanks app.
- Find Metro recharge under Bank section.

People living in Delhi or nearby satellite cities like Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida, etc. can recharge metro card online via the official website of DMRC.
- Head to the DMRC website.
- Click on the Quick Top-up option.
- Enter your card’s engraved ID located at the back of the card.
- Next, enter the recharge amount,
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Finally, click on submit to view payment options.
- Choose your desired payment method, make the payment and you are done.
BMRC
BMRC is the metro service for people living in Bangalore. Though not Google Pay, BMRC official website can be used to recharge metro card online. Here’s how:
- Go to the official website of BMRC.
- On the home screen, you will find Quick top up option. Click on it.
- Enter the following details: Engraved Id, Add Value Amount, Email Id, Name, Mobile No, and Captcha
- Click on Next, follow the on-screen instructions, make payment.
Similar to DMRC and BMRC, you can choose the official website of the metro service that you are using to recharge your metro card online.

Do Not Forget To-
Now that you know you can’t recharge your metro card online by Google Pay, you can explore other effective methods mentioned above. However, regardless of the method you choose, here’s something you need to do to add the recharge amount to your card:
- Once you have successfully recharged your metro card, go to Add Value Machine (AVM) at any metro station.
- Tap the card on the machine.
- Now, click on “Top-up” button and then click on “Valid”.
Once you have followed the above two-step process, the recharge amount will be credited to your card.
Note: You need to top-up your metro card within 180 days from the date of recharge to prevent the recharge amount from expiring.
