What Is GP1 And G2 In BSNL?

GP stands for grace period in BSNL terminology. Once your current plan expires, your SIM will be eligible for a grace period. So, you can recharge your SIM during the grace period as well. There are two grace periods for BSNL connections:

GP1

GP1 starts the day after your plan expires and lasts seven days. If you recharge within GP1, the balance and benefits will be carried over on your next recharge. If you could not top up within GP1, the credits from the previous plan would be lost. During this time, you can receive calls but not make calls.

GP2

GP 2 starts after GP1, like after seven days, and lasts 165 days. During this time, making and receiving calls will be suspended. If you cannot top up within GP2, the SIM card will be cancelled, and the number may be assumed to be lost.
