After months of beta testing, Android 11 is finally stable and official. The new operating system will not only be available for the Pixel series of phones but others as well. Some OnePlus, Xiaomi, Realme and Oppo phones will be getting the latest update too. Furthermore, Google says that, “more partners will be pushing the upgrade over the coming months.”
Android 11: What Is New?
The new Android OS brings in a lot of improvements over Android 10. Some of these features are not only aesthetically pleasing but very useful as well. Additionally, the operating system will be mainly focusing on three segments of paramount importance:
- People
- Control, and
- Privacy
Moreover, the update also brings a new ‘conversation’ section at the top of the notification shade. This section will have messages from all the social media platforms. Furthermore, they will appear in a bubble-like format which will look really good. Also, this format is what we see on Facebook Messenger. We always wished for something like this and it is finally here.
Additionally, Android 11 also provides easy access to smart home devices. Just holding down the power button brings controls in a grid-like format.
