According to a new report, Xiaomi Redmi 9A has been spotted on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) bearing model number M2006C3LG. The device is touted as a watered-down version of Redmi 9 that was released a few days ago and will host an affordable specs sheet. According to the FCC listing, the purported Redmi 9A sports 4G network and will host a large 4,900 mAh battery under the hood that will power the device for a good one and a half days even on moderate to heavy usage.
The device is touted as the successor to Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual that arrived in India earlier this year. The listing also captures the features such as the phone will run on the latest MIUI 12 and will have dual-SIM support similar to 8A Dual. This is as per the model number M2006C3LG although the Chinese smartphone maker hasn’t confirmed the presence of any further Redmi phone as of now.
