Recently, Oppo’s latest launch, OPPO F27 Pro Plus, gained much attraction all over the world because of its IP69 water-resistant (IP mean Ingress Protection), five-star Swiss SGS rating for drop resistance, and US military standard certification. OPPO F27 Pro Plus is one of the first phones to have an IP69 rating under the 30,000 price range. To check the OPPO claim, I visited the Hotspot Mobile Showroom, Laxminagar, Delhi. What is the OPPO F27 Pro Plus IP69 rating?

OPPO F27 Pro Plus 5G is the first phone to feature all three certifications of the highest dust and water resistance levels: IP66, IP68, and IP69. Specifically, these standards certify that the phone can withstand high-pressure and high-temperature water jets, as well as immersion in water for up to 30 minutes, respectively.

To find out the reality of the OPPO F27 Pro Plus IP69 water resistance rating, I visited the Hotspot Mobile Store on behalf of Cashify. The OPPO employee gave a short presentation about all the features of the OPPO F27 Pro Plus and then put the phone in a box filled with water. When I took the phone out after a few minutes, the phone was working fine. When I played the video immediately, the sound was a little low due to the water. But after some time, the sound also started working properly.

OPPO employee told us that OPPO F27 Pro Plus is the best-selling phone among Android phones so far. This phone price starts at 27,999 rupees for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. For 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage price is 29,999 rupees in India.

Conclusion

That’s what OPPO says when introducing the F27 Pro Plus with an IP69 rating, a phone which can survive in water and drop. I went to the Hotspot Mobile Showroom in Laxminagar, Delhi, to prove this. The phone has an impressive IP69 rating, which is the highest possible level of water and dust resistance. This means it can be exposed to powerful water jets and yet not suffer damage after being submerged for 30 minutes.

I saw as it dipped into a box full of water. Surprisingly, nothing was wrong with it! There was just a momentary sound hitch, but it was solved immediately. Truly, the OPPO F27 Pro Plus is a survivor. If you are concerned about water damage then this phone would be great for you.
