Redmi Pad Pro 5G Design and Build
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is an impressive Tab in recent launch but in terms of design. But this tab is almost a copy of the latest launch of Paco Pad 5G. It features a sleek unibody built in a dark grey colour.
So, it has a dual-tone design, with two shades of grey that give it a stylish and minimalistic look. Its front has a Gorilla Glass 3, and its back is made of aluminium.
During the Redmi Pad Pro 5G review, I felt excellent that its frame is fingerprint and smudge-resistant, maintaining a clean appearance even after extended use. However, it only weighs 566 grams and has a dimension of 280 x 181.9 x 7.5 mm, making it feel lighter than it actually is. You will see a camera shape on the backside.
This tablet is well-equipped for media consumption, with a quad-speaker setup—two on each side. However, you will see a USB-C port at the bottom and a headphone jack.
One of the best things is that you will see Dolby Vision Atmos’ signature on the top. So, it ensures a top-notch audio-visual experience.
It also includes power and volume buttons, multiple mics for calls, and a hybrid SIM tray for a nano-SIM and a microSD card, which you can expand up to 1.5TB.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Keyboard Case & Stylus
Redmi Pad Pro 5G comes with a keyboard, case, and styles, and the price is around 9000 rupees. Its accessories are notable and enhance productivity. Its keyboard and case fold as a stand and connect to the tablet via Bluetooth with a simple pairing process.
The keyboard is immense, and I feel a little bit like a small laptop. It comes with well-spread keys that offer excellent travel, making typing comfortable. Although it lacks Pogo pins like the Xiaomi Pad, I think this decision is taken to keep costs down without compromising usability. Additionally, the keyboard case has a toggle switch for easy control and a USB-C port for charging.
The stylus, another helpful accessory, is perfect for note-taking or drawing. However, it doesn’t magnetically attach to the tablet; instead, it uses a loop on the cover for storage.
I really feel disappointed, and it is a drawback. The pen’s long battery life compensates, and you can keep your stylus in the cover hanger to prevent it from falling off quickly.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Camera
Redmi Pad Pro 5G has a single camera with LED flash and HDR. Its camera is too exciting because the tab is focused on this area. But overall, the images are quite average.
I clicked photos day and night. You can see clearly grain in the image. I could not find better images as well.
This phone comes with an 8MP front camera. So, you can not expect the best selfies with it. But you can take video calls and meet with it.
In terms of video quality, it can record 1080p videos at 30fps. Overall, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G camera review is average.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Battery and Charging
Redmi Pad Pro 5G is powered by a massive 10,000mAh battery. It easily lasts 3-4 days with moderate use of around 3-4 hours daily. Its battery will not drain automatically because its standby time is excellent, with minimal battery drain when not in use. However, the charging speed is limited to 33W, which is slow for a battery of this size.
But one is thinning, and it is worth noting that it takes a lot of time to charge due to its powerful battery. I suggest you charge it overnight, making the slower charging speed less of an issue.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Display
Redmi Pad Pro 5G features a large 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. The 12-bit panel supports 68.7 billion colours, delivering almost OLED visuals.
Moreover, it has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, making the interface fluid, switching between 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz based on usage.
This adaptive refresh rate helps in conserving battery life. This tab’s slim bezels frame the screen, making it easy to handle without compromising the display area.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G features a 16:10 aspect ratio. I watched a lot of movies and videos, as content filled the screen edge-to-edge, giving the vibe of a laptop. Moreover, its Dolby Vision support enhances the experience, providing vibrant colours and sharp contrast.
The quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos delivers loud, clear, and immersive audio, which makes it an excellent choice for media enthusiasts. So, if your first friend is OTT, then I will say there is no problem with the Redmi Pad Pro 5G display review at this price.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Performance
Redmi Pad Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm SM7435-AB Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset. So, it delivers solid mid-range performance. It easily handles day-to-day tasks, supporting apps like Microsoft Office without any hiccups.
The 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, expandable with 8GB of virtual RAM, ensures smooth multitasking. The tablet’s storage is 256GB 8GB UFS 2.2, providing decent read and write speeds. I think this tab should have UFS 3.1-type storage. You can also buy 128GB storage + 6GB RAM variants.
I run several benchmarks in Redmi Pad Pro 5G to review the performance. Its Geekbench scores are 989 in single-core and 2594 in multi-core. The CPU throttling test was also excellent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 504443. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 99.5 per cent.
I also played a lot of games, like Asphalt 9, Call of Duty, COC, and BGMI, in high settings. So, it offers smooth gameplay even during extended sessions. By the way, I was facing difficulty controlling games on a big screen.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Software and UI
Redmi Pad Pro 5G runs Android 14 with smooth and optimized HyperOS, so you will get a user-friendly interface.
It offers various customization options for the lock screen, a convenient app stack at the bottom, and multitasking capabilities.
You can open two apps side by side and have up to two floating windows. So, these things will help to increase your productivity.
The tablet also includes GPS, enabling the use of navigation apps like Google Maps during travel. It supports phone calls and has Bluetooth for wireless earphones, adding to its versatility.
You will also not get too many bloatware apps, which is also a good part for me. So, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G UI review is cool.

From my perspective as a user in this Redmi Pad Pro 5G review, I perceive it as being of acceptable quality while being affordable at the same time. The display is large and colourful; the performance is decent. There are optional accessories like a keyboard and stylus, which makes it a rather flexible device for work, media, or light gaming.
From my perspective, these are some omissions, like missing advanced options, Pogo pins for the keyboard or a magnetic stylus attachment. But these trade-offs allow us to keep the price quite appealing. It offers a low price for a good quality tablet. I think this tablet is suitable for a person who is looking at drawing, watching videos, studying, and gaming. The market also has other tabs like Poco Pad 5G, OnePlus Pad, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Lenovo Tab P12, Xiaomi Pad 6, etc.
