Samsung launched its new foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G globally. The South Korean giant is launching this phone a few days ahead of the Unpacked event scheduled on August 5.
This newer version is a faster and 5G enabled version of Samsung Z Flip launched last year. Unlike the original, this Samsung Z Flip 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC. It is available in Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze color options. Looking at the smartphone, it is having the same vertical folding design and specs as the original version.

Samsung Z Flip 5G Specifications
It sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with 21.5:9 aspect ratio and a 1.06-inch secondary color display on the cover. The phone has a Snapdragon 3.09GHz of 865+ SoC unlike the 855+ chipset in the original.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is running on Android v10 and One UI 2.0 on top. It is also having an 8GB of RAM and 256 GB storage.
With respect to the camera, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup of 12 MP 123degrees of the ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 and 12MP 78-degree wide-angle sensor with f/1.8. The front camera sports a 10MP lens. Additionally, it is enabled with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
It also comes with a 3,300mAh battery with support for 15W fast-charging.

Samsung Z Flip 5G Price and Availability
The price in the US at $1,499.99 (~Rs 1,12,000) for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. One can buy this through AT&T, Best Buy, Samsung.com, T-Mobile, and Amazon.com.

There has been no official word on the launch of the phone in India.
