The Unpacked 2020 event by Samsung saw five new products lined up for release. It includes the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Buds Live, and Galaxy Tab S7 series. In addition, the announcement of the successor to the Galaxy Fold – Samsung Galaxy Z fold 2.

When looking at the phone, we see not much of a difference in the whole design but some upgrades are identified. Design upgrades in adding bezel-less displays not just on the inside, but on the cover as well. There are some upgrades in the hardware too. Not much of the details are out in the open.
What is Samsung offering with new Fold 2?
It features a 6.2-inch AMOLED Infinity-O display on the cover with minimal bezels all around. Moreover, as the device unfolds, you see a 7.6-inch flexible AMOLED Infinity-O display. Both the phones come with a punch-hole display rather than a notch or thick bezels for camera.

Additionally, we are seeing a triple camera setup at the back and a single camera under each punch-hole cutout. Most of the details on the hardware or camera upgrades are not made by the company.

As per the company, it comes in Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze color options. Samsung is yet to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 2 price and availability, but the company promises to provide more information in September.
The company says there will also be a limited Galaxy Z Fold 2 Thom Browne Edition in collaboration with the fashion house.
