In celebration of completing 10 years in the industry, Xiaomi will introduce a new addition to its flagship. The Chinese smartphone maker said over its official Weibo account that it will be introducing a flagship device called the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Plus on 11 August.
Weibo post by Xiaomi when translated states the new flagship is the “Extreme Commemorative Edition” of the Xiaomi Mi 10. This new smartphone comes with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset, according to rumors. However, the new addition looks like an upgrade of the Mi 10 Pro announced in February.

Xiaomi has also upgraded its flagship Mi 9 with a Pro version last year. This upgrade came with a powerful Snapdragon 855+ chipset.
This new Mi 10 Pro Plus might come with a high refresh rate screen, wireless charging, a powerful camera with 30x or more zoom, and stereo speakers. This new phone is on the AnTuTu benchmarking website. However, the phone is not officially named as Mi 10 Pro Plus on the site.
If rumors are true, Mi 10 Pro would retain many of the same features such as a 6.67” FHD+ display, a 108MP main camera, and 5G connectivity and a 4500mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging.

At the event, co-founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, will give a speech talking about the past, present, and future of the company. This is happening on August 11 at 7:30 pm local time (5 pm IST).
