With Redmi confirming the release of its next-gen powered RedmiBook 16, there is a sudden upsurge in gadget enthusiasts. The upcoming model will run on the 10th Gen Intel Core-i7 10nm processor. With a similar processor configuration, Xiaomi, the subsidiary of the parent company Redmi may launch the RedmiBook 14 2 on the same date. Redmi launched the RedmiBook 16 with AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series 7nm processor with Radeon GPU back in May this year. The launch and release will take place in China as of now.

RedmiBook 16 Launch
Posted on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo by the Mi Notebook handle itself, the RedmiBook 16 will be launched on July 8 and a much-touted characteristic is that it will feature a rich full-screen experience. It is highly expected that Xioami may also launch a cheaper variant as well with the Intel Core-i5 processor for much more domestic utility. Taking inspiration from the earlier launched versions, up to 16GB RAM and 512 GB of internal storage is expected.

RedmiBook 14 2 Launch – rumour or fact?
Based on the reports from various Tipsters, Redmi 14 2 may also be unveiled in the same event with similar processor configurations and variants. It is also seen that RedmiBook 14 2 is a successor version of RedmiBook 14 which went on sale in June 2020.
Getting the idea from the earlier releases, it may have distinct 3.26mm ultra-narrow bezels and a 90% screen to body ratio supporting 100 percent sRGB wide colour gamut. There could be an optional dedicated GPU. It may come with more enhancements and better battery life.

RedmiBook 16 Expected Price
To recall, the RedmiBook 16 Ruilong version powered by AMD’s processor was launched with a price label of around 42,420 in India. This was the cost for 16GB RAM+512 GB SSD; the higher the space size and better processor adaptivity, the more the worth of it. The former RedmiBook 14 price was set at roughly around Rs 39,240. The sale in India by Mi for the Notebook 14 Horizon Edition, started at the price Rs 41,999. All this has given some hint on the cost range of upcoming gadgets.
