Realme V5 5G Officially Unveiled

The Chinese mobile brand Realme has come up with its next 5G compatible smartphone – Realme V5 5G. Realme V5 5G Announced in three color options- Silver, Green, and Blue. The base variant will come at CNY 1,499. The smartphone will be available for sale on August 7 in China.

Realme V5 5G Specifications

Speaking of the Realme V5 5G Specifications, the phone features a 6.5-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The internal storage could be expanded to 256GB using an external micro-SD card.

Realme V5 5G Specifications demonstrate that the phone runs its software on Android v10 with Realme custom UI layered on the top of it. The device sports dual-SIM functionality and quad-rear camera setup. The setup comprises of a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree field-of-view,  2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. Also, there is a LED flash fitted along with the above-mentioned module.

Realme V5 5G is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W flash-charge support. The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It showcases resistance to water splashes due to the P2i coating on the body.

Realme V5 5G Price and Availability

For the entry-level variant with 6GB RAM+ 128GB ROM, the Realme V5 5G will be priced at CNY 1,499 (around INR 16,100). Whereas the higher-end variant with 8GB+128GB storage is said to come at CNY 1,899 (around INR 20,400). The phone will go on sale on August 7 only in China.

The Realme V5 5G seems to hold impressive specs to offer. It can be considered as a stiff competitor to other affordable 5G smartphones.
