People in India are waiting for the next POCO device and it turns out it could be POCO M2 Pro. To recap the story, POCO confirmed that it will be launching a new device in India in the next 25 days. Then comes the rumours that it could be either POCO F2 Pro or POCO M2 Pro and seems like the latter might be the winner of the lottery thanks to its recent arrival on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) marking POCO M2 Pro Launch in India imminent.
According to the listing that tipster Mukul Sharma spotted, a POCO phone with model number M2003J6CI was spotted on BIS and it is believed it is POCO M2 Pro. Coincidentally, the said model number has already arrived on Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance certifications as well while a quick and probably now-deleted listing on the Xiaomi India website showcased the upcoming POCO M2 Pro.

This raises the probability of POCO M2 Pro Launch in India. Moreover, it is believed to be a rebranded version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro as both share the same codename “gram” that made a buzz a few weeks ago. According to POCO M2 Pro specification based on Redmi Note 9 Pro’s specifications, it could bring on-board a Snapdragon 720G processor along with a 6.67” FHD+ display with a punch-hole, 128GB of internal storage and up to 6GB of RAM. There’s a lot to POCO M2 Pro specification that is yet unknown.

The POCO M2 Pro Launch in India is also weighing as imminent since POCO has already confirmed that it won’t be launching any 5G phone unless the infrastructure is ready for it in India. This means POCO F2 Pro can possibly wait while the Poco M2 Pro takes the baton. The Poco M2 Pro Price is also underreported since there’s no intel on it. But there’s an assumption that since POCO M2 Pro is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro and the POCO M2 Pro Price will be lower than Poco X2, it could arrive Rs 14,000/- to Rs 17,500/- or so.
