Pete Lau revealed that the company has decided to not launch the OnePlus 8T Pro this year. Furthermore, he went on to say that the OnePlus 8 Pro is a standalone premium flagship and no addition to the series is required this year. However, the company has teased the arrival of a new smartphone under the OnePlus Nord series. This smartphone will reportedly launch alongside the OnePlus 8T on October 14.
This indicates that the OnePlus 8T will be the only flagship offering by the company for now. Furthermore, although the company has hinted at a new OnePlus Nord series smartphone, the launch date has not been confirmed as of now.

The OnePlus 8T price is expected to be set at EUR 799 which is roughly Rs. 69,000. This will be the price for the 8GB/128GB variant. Moreover, the price of the 12GB/256GB variant is expected to be around EUR 899 which is roughly Rs. 78,000.
OnePlus 8T Expected Specifications
The smartphone might feature a 6.55-inch full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the OnePlus 8T is expected to run on Android 11 with the OxygenOS 11 on top.
On the processor front, the OnePlus 8T is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The octa-core chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Furthermore, there will be another variant as well which will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

The smartphone is expected to come with a quad rear camera setup. The setup will include a 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. Additionally, the smartphone will feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter at the front.

The OnePlus 8T might pack a large 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. As mentioned earlier, the device will also have a redesigned camera module. The module will have the sensors placed on the top left corner instead of at the centre.
The OnePlus 8 series of phones have been pretty amazing so far and we are certainly looking forward to the 8T Pro’s release next year.
