Why you should not buy Nothing Phone 1

    1. Pre-order scam

According to the reports, Nothing made a guarantee that anyone who had pre-order passes would be able to pre-order this smartphone as soon as it became available. But after the launch, everyone could place pre-orders, including those who hadn’t paid for the pre-order pass.

    2. Under-powered processor

Several phones like POCO F4 5G, IQOO NEO 6 and Realme GT2 come with higher processors, Snapdragon 870 under Rs. 30,000 than the Nothing Phone (1). However, a Snapdragon 778G+SoC is included with the Nothing Phone (1), which is the mid-range weak chipset. Furthermore, a mid-range processor like this one might eventually be unable to compete with more upgraded ones.

    3. Design

It isn’t easy to use the Nothing Phone with one hand because of its boxy design, flat sides, and a substantially larger screen. However, with 900 LEDs, the phone may set itself apart from its competitors. Also, the device itself weighs quite a bit. If you like your phone to have a clean, straightforward look, the Nothing Phone is not for you. Furthermore, other phones in this price bracket will look more luxurious while grabbing less attention.

    4. Much-hyped Nothing OS

The Nothing OS doesn’t provide much in the way of customisation or minimalism. You’d expect the user interface to match the phone’s design while using a device that has such a distinctive appearance. The options are extremely constrained when it comes to the Nothing OS. When it comes to the home screen, there aren’t many customisation options, nor are there many options when it comes to icon size. Furthermore, Nothing is unsure about the software updates and customisation options too.

    5. Quality assurance

Before Nothing phone 1, Nothing also launched earbuds with favourable feedback from many buyers. However, some feedbacks are negative also, like one side of the earbud doesn’t work correctly. So, before buying the Nothing Phone, we think consumers may wait for a couple more models and favourable feedback. There are lots of impressive competitors out there.

    6. After-sale services

After-sales service is one of the most important aspects to consider when purchasing a phone. Nothing now lacks post-sale services. Furthermore, In metro cities like Delhi, there is only one service centre for Nothing. So, it will be difficult for you to locate a place and fix your Nothing Phone (1) if damaged somehow.

Consider some of the other phones that are offered in this price range before investing your money in this much-hyped phone.
