Display & Design
Moving to the Nothing Phone 1 specs, it comes with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ OLED Visionox display. This display comes with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, 402 ppi, and HDR10+ certification. On top, the smartphone also features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 support.

Moreover, this protection is extended to the back panel of the device as well. For more protection, the device is also IP53 water and dust-resistant. At the back, the design mostly gives the impression of a transparent device. This design is highlighted by stunning LED lights.
These LED lights are backed by the Glyph Interface and consist of a whopping 900 LEDs. The lighting takes over when someone calls, for incoming notifications, when charging, etc.
Processor & Performance
Under the hood, the Nothing Phone 1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+. This is a slightly more feature-packed processor than the vanilla 778G. This 6nm processor is paired with the Adreno 642L GPU. In addition, there is up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Android 12 OS. You also get to see the Nothing OS custom skin on top. This particular OS was actually out as a Beta version on the Google Play Store for users to test out and give feedback.
From that test version itself we got to know that this is a near-stock Android OS with zero bloatware. This is bound to offer a very seamless experience, overall.

Moving to optics, the Nothing Phone 1 comes with a dual rear camera setup. This setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS. In addition, the primary sensor also comes with EIS, f/1.88 aperture, 120fps slow motion, and HDR support.
As a secondary sensor, there is a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle sensor. This sensor comes with EIS, 4cm macro, f/2.2 aperture, and HDR capabilities. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture. This particular sensor can also record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
Battery & Charging
When it comes to battery, the Nothing Phone 1 packs a decent 4,500mAh battery. This rated battery capacity is coupled with 33W PD3.0 fast wired charging support. You also get 15W Qi wireless charging and dual charging support on the device. In terms of reverse charging, you get 5W charging support.

From the looks of it, the Nothing Phone 1 is definitely a unique offering from the brand. However, it all comes down to how tech enthusiasts and the common folk are going to perceive this uniqueness. Just like we saw with Nothing Ear 1, there were two very radical groups.
