Asus’s Zenfone 8 series launch is inching closer as May 12 is not far away. However, it will not just have a vanilla variant and a Pro variant – but also include a Zenfone 8 Mini. The teasers suggest the series will be big in performance, but compact in size. In addition, we are also seeing the mention of a mini variant on various certification sites recently. Now, another leak just about confirms there will be one launching alongside the series.

Asus ZenFone 8 Mini RAM, Storage, and Design (Leaked)
According to leaks, it can pack a 5.9-inch display and powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Another leak suggested its’ display could have a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it surfaced on Geekbench with model number ASUS_I006D. The listing reveals it could have Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and up to 16GB of RAM under the hood.

As per the leak, the Zenfone 8 Mini will come in as many as five configurations – 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 16GB+256GB storage. It makes it one of the few phones to offer 16GB RAM in the market. In addition, the device also runs on the Android 11-based Zen UI version. Furthermore, the report says that the phone may come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Asus ZenFone 8 Mini may pack a 4,000mAh battery. On the other hand, another leak points towards it having new IMX686 and IMX663 camera sensors for the 64MP primary rear camera. In terms of pricing, it is possible it can be around the Rs 40,000 bracket.
