Xiaomi launched their Mi 11 series earlier this year, which consists of two smartphones that came to India. These are the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Additionally, the brand also launched the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+ as rebranded Xiaomi Mi 11X and Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro in the country. However, the vanilla Xiaomi Mi 11 has not come to India as of now. The company is now gearing up to launch their Xiaomi Mi 12 series in the country.
According to various reports, the company is planning on launching the Mi 12 later on this year. Moreover, it could extent to early 2022 as well. Xiaomi Mi 12 Specifications (Leaked)
Going by the new report, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. Moreover, this will be the first smartphone to come with the latest flagship chipset by Qualcomm. Additionally, another report suggests that the smartphone will ship with the recently launched super fast LPDDR5X RAM module.

Now, the Snapdragon 888 and 870 chipsets do not support the newly launched LPDDR5X RAM. Going by that, the smartphone will most likely sport the Snapdragon 898 SoC. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC will be the most powerful chipset made till date by the company. Moreover, Xiaomi has had a good tie-up with the chipset manufacturing company in introducing all the flagship chipsets first in its smartphones.
In another news, the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra of the series has been tipped to come with a whopping 200-megapixel primary sensor. The primary sensor is reportedly 1-inch in size and is the largest sensor in the world. Additionally, the primary sensor also comes with 16-in-1 pixel binning support. This allows the sensor to produce crystal clear 12-megapixel shots as well.
